Underwhelming stay
closed restaurant unhelpful staff
The location was acceptable and near public transportation.
The restaurant was closed, which I was not made aware of prior to arrival. This forced me to cook in the room, and I had not wanted to do that. The staff seemed unhelpful and did not provide sufficient communication. The value for money was not good.

My Heartfelt Stay
lovely staff plentiful options nice people
The village lodge was wonderful. I loved our space and it was a close distance to the bus directly to Centraal. The staff were very lovely and helpful. They were nice people. The restaurant had plentiful options and there was a bar to meet other guests.
I received many annoying messages before arrival.

a decent stay near the center
nice cabin ample furniture hard bed broken machine
the location worked for me even if it is not super close to the center. i used taxis and ubers, and those were around. the cabin was nice and it had lots of furniture.
the bed reminded me of a rock so i did not sleep well. my room had a coffee machine but it didn't work right.

a stay with some issues
dirty dishes loud noise
I found a few things less than stellar, surprisingly. the dishes in the kitchen were not clean. A real miss. also, the air conditioning unit made a very loud noise that echoed throughout the house. i thought with a supposed four-star rating, the coffee pods would be refreshed daily. they were not

a tranquil stay
beautiful grounds vegetable gardens
The grounds were beautiful and featured vegetable gardens. It gave the feeling of being in the countryside, even though the city was nearby. bus connections to the city center were straightforward. i rented a bicycle to cycle to a nearby town. i even received detailed instructions for my accommodation upon my late arrival.
i found the charge for having a dog quite expensive. i have stayed in comparable places for less, and those places also provided a water bowl, which this hotel did not.

the staff showed great care and the self check-in process was seamless, even at a late hour, everything was easy. cleaning was well executed and everything equipped. free parking added convenience for travel to the area, i really appreciated that.

the hotel offered easy access and was close to both the airport and the city, but not so close that it disrupted the peaceful ambiance, ideal. free parking was available and accessibility to main attractions was simple.

the grounds had walking tracks, bicycle rentals, swings, and even a trampoline. the setting felt calming, and the outdoor sauna added a touch of luxury, so i was like i experienced real nature.

Breakfast was good and met vegetarian needs. the farm nearby allowed for stocking up on supplies. the kitchen in my lighthouse setup was reasonably stocked. Made it easy to prepare meals.

The breakfast offered many local products. The staff was lovely and always ready to assist with any questions I had. The grounds were beautiful with lush greenery , made for a mini vacation. I easily accessed public transport using the direct bus route nearby. Bus 21 offered regular connection to the city center and was within a twenty minute walk.
